In order to guide the undergraduates of Grade 2021 to start their college life smoothly and improve their psychological adaptability, the Student Work Department and the Mental Health Education and Counseling Center carried out the "first-year Project" new student quality development practice activities in Liangxiang Campus from September 2 to 10, with a total of more than 3,700 new students participating。

This practice activity adopts the form of team challenge combining main task and side task, including 18 main and side tasks such as chess opponent, dynamic ball, poetry and passion beat, and invited 19 professional designers to guide the activities。The competition requires each team to successfully challenge 6 main tasks and a number of side projects within the specified time, each project has different difficulty and different scores, and finally the highest score in the specified time wins。

The students devoted themselves to the activities and completed each challenge through collective wisdom, which not only enhanced the cohesion of the group and expanded interpersonal communication skills, but also exercised the ability to cope with short-term pressure in the practical project, and made psychological reserves for the subsequent adaptation to college life。
